Preston’s 9th International Film Festival * 19-26 October

Film Festival A5 2015Don’t miss Preston’s 9th International Film Festival, presented by the Worldwise Learning Centre at the University of Central Lancashire, from 19 till the 26 of October.

Family favourites, internationally-renowned and Award-winning performances are to feature in a series of cinema screenings in the Mitchell & Kenyon  this October.

Each night, for eight nights, there will be an exciting film shown in a range of different languages including, Japanese, Arabic, French, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Italian and German. All films will have English subtitles.

The first night opens with the internationally-renowned Japanese film, I wish. To mark the launch of the film festival, Japanese snacks and tea will be available prior to the film screening. This is followed by an abundance of fantastic foreign language films; including animated, family-favourite, A Cat in Paris (French); deadly serious black comedy, The Mafia Only Kills in Summer (Italian); and tense mystery, Phoenix (German).
