So Bonfire night is here once again, which means it’s time for fireworks, bonfires, toffee apples, cinder and treacle toffee and a whole load of other sweets.
Are you celebrating in Lancashire this year?
There are loads of great options all over Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool and everywhere in between! What better way to spend your Saturday evening than by heading to Lancaster on the train to watch ‘Light up Lancaster’ the fantastic fireworks display which really will illuminate the city.
Witton Park Bonfire is going to be providing fun for people of all ages on this Saturday, so make your way to Blackburn to see the bonfire, fireworks and have a ride on the fairground.
Then on Bonfire night itself, remember, remember the 5th of November, Chorley is hosting its annual roundtable bonfire and firework display. They will be lighting the bonfire at 6.30pm, and the fireworks will be starting at 7.45pm.
Remember whatever you’re doing this bonfire night, have a good time, but please stay safe,
- Never return to a firework after it has been lit.
- Hold sparklers at arm’s length and keep them away from other people.
- Never throw fireworks.
- Never put fireworks in your pocket.
- Keep any pets inside.
